How on earth can rules possibly exist that can allow someone to win a match on a dropped cube? Worse yet would be any director that would rule that the match is won.

Idoicy like this and the fear of it only serves to scare newer players away from live tournament play.

I've played tourney BG for over 35 years and only recall 1 case where the leader thru what should've been a dead cube and the trailer dropped and the leader tried to claim a win. This was at least 25 years ago, and the director simply scolded the leader for trying to steal, scolded the trailer for not being more alert, reset the cube to where it was prior to the leader's theft attempt and told them to finish the game.
