Here's a dilemma if playing legal moves

How in the world should a side bet made between 3rd parties, without my input or participation, affect how I play the game?

To drive home your point, isn't it enough that I'm 100% responsible for my own actions? Why should I even have to consider the thoughts/actions of third parties (having made voluntary, independent investments in my performance) who may have different motivations or morals than my own?

The act of someone even expecting his Calcutta financial interest to compromise personal ethics/morals/sportsmanship for petty&selfish interest is in fact the crime here.

People who think like this need to get a life. And that's the diplomatic way of saying it. I could but more blunt/crass. You fill in the blanks.

The same goes for "if I play legal moves and miss seeing an illegal move, I have to consider kibitzers thinking I'm a cheater..." !!!!! OK, I'll help you fill in the blanks. Any kibitzer who sees me (playing legal moves) miss correcting it, thinking I did it intentionally can (and should) go f....
