The correct play is B/23* 6/3*

A: Because it ups the gammons and they are valuable at this score.

B: It wins more games because if white enters with a 3 or 21 (he should play B/22) he can now keep both anchors and play very aggressively to trap your back checker.

If he rolls a 2 he'll pop out for some outfield coverage or work on the other side of the board again to trap your back checker.
