1. The first two are easy: 13/7*. Then we have to decide whether to hit the second checker. I think we do. White will have a much better game if she is able to anchor on the ace point. So 4/1* is the third 3. Now we have to decide whether to play 4/1 or 7/4 with the last 3. It looks too risky to me to allow White to enter on our 4pt when we still have three checkers on the other side of the board and might not be able to sustain an attack. Plus, getting hit back on the ace point isn't a disaster. So, 13/7*/1*. If our rear checkers were further advanced then I'd lean towards 13/7* 4/1*(2).

2. My first instinct is to shift points, but opening the 3pt might actually make it easier for White to escape. Also, if we leave White alone, her 2's expose a second blot. If we don't shift points then there are various ways to shuffle our outfield checkers. 13/12 blocks double 5's and eliminates White's fly shots, so I'd start with that. After that I'm not sure but I guess I'd try 20/18 15/14.

3. This looks a bit like Snua's position from a couple of weeks ago. White has slightly less time to play with here, but it should still be an easy take. If this is really a money game (chouette) then doubling will typically be the right practical decision because some will drop. Technically, I'm not sure; perhaps it's a small double.
