Why are the Daily Quizzes so unpopular?

Too many problems -> fewer comments -> fewer comments, no discussion -> fewer comments, fewer views.

I've commented on about 40 of the Daily Quizzes. Not a lot in almost a year but more than most, I'd guess. Hardly anyone makes comments besides Tim and a handful of others. When I comment on a DQ, it feels like a nearly empty room. So most often these days I wait to view and 'have a go at solving them' until Tim posts the XG analysis and sometimes rollouts.
