Certain members have a reputation for posting difficult positions, Stick via the daily quizzes being one of them.

I'm guessing quite a few people who don't actually respond have a go at solving them.
First you have to find all the candidates then you have to try and analyze them followed but the what's the possible QF / Anti QF answer?

You then convince yourself through thorough analysis that it's play A, check it with your favorite BOT and realize you've made a blunder so to avoid public humiliation you don't post it.

That's the downside of the strength of XG2. It will spit out "the correct" answer in seconds and as a result stifles discussion.

Very few posters, Timothy Chow being one of them are brave enough to have a go most of the time.

You tend to find many people will respond if there are actually quite a few plausible plays as the humiliation factor will be low.
