What's the story now with whether the GNUBG/XG ID keeps track of which player is the "near"/"far" player? I recall that there was some discussion about this here on BGO but I don't know what the conclusion was. I know that I've copied the XGID into XG from some of the Daily Quizzes and sometimes found that the board was swapped from what was displayed in Stick's post.
